On the 17th of August, representatives of LITBIOMA and ENERSTENA Group participated in the meeting in Georgia. The workshop “Exploring the Opportunities of Biomass Utilization in Georgia”  was opened by Energy minister of Georgia Mr. Ilia Eloshvuili. The meeting was attended by the minister of agriculture, Levan Davitashvili, President of Lithuanian Biomass Energy Association and CEO of the ENERSTENA Group, Virginijus Ramanauskas, deputy minister of the ministry of environment and natural resources, Ekaterine Grigalava and representatives of some NGO’s.

Nakkila Boilers Oy, the company of ENERSTENA Group in Finland, has signed 2 contracts. Both projects are for the delivery of biomass boilers plants equipment to district heating companies. The main fuels are wood chips with moisture of 20-50%, forest residues, bark and sod peat.

2017 07 14

ENERSTENA Group owned company Enerstena has signed its first general contractor agreement in Belarus. It is a high volume project, the implementation of which will involve building a new 20 MW boiler plant in the city of Chervyenia. Enerstena will produce the boilers, install all of the needed equipment and conduct boiler plant automation and start-up works. This project includes changing almost 13 km of old heat supply piping and is worth almost 6 million Euro. This project is financed by the World bank.

2017 06 16

Another important and successful project was completed between ENERSTENA and the Lithuanian energy company Soreco. ENERSTENA has also gained trust with the independent heat producer Lerenta after project implementation of  5MW water heating boiler with dry type economizer. Lerenta is an independent heat producer belonging to Soreco. Both companies agreed to further cooperation in both Lithuanian and Polish markets.

This year, a new biofuel boiler plant from an independent heating supplier will be built in Panevėžys, providing city heating supply networks with the power of 20 megawatts. Because of increased competition between the city’s heating suppliers, the residents of Panevėžys will be able to save on heating costs. Moreover, the new power plant will be environmentally friendly and create new jobs for residents.
