THE CONSTRUCTION WORKS OF THE BOILER HOUSE EXTENSION STARTED IN POLAND

2019 03 26

On 21st of March 2019, in order to commemorate the beginning of the construction works of the boiler house of Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej w Łomża Sp. z o.o. (Lomza City Heat Energy Company), we placed a symbolic capsule with a letter for future generations into the foundations of the furnace. Thanks to this project, Lomza (Łomża) city heat energy company boiler house will be equipped with a 12.50 MW water heating boiler fuelled by biomass, 3 MW condensing economizer and other technological equipment.

The project will be completed in October 2019.

This project is important not only for us as the first project of UAB Enerstena in the Republic of Poland, but also for our clients. This is the first investment of Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej w Łomża Sp. z o.o. in the renewable energy. It is expected that the new 12.50 MW water heating boiler with condensing economiser will produce up to 30 percent yearly thermal energy necessary for Lomza city. It is calculated that the cost of thermal energy produced from biofuels will be around 50% lower than the current production from coal, i.e. extremely polluting fossil fuels.

When the boiler house using renewable energy source and biofuels will be built, not only will the price of energy for the inhabitants of the city of Lomza become lower, but also the use of fossil fuels and environmental pollution will be reduced.

We are happy to contribute to environmental sustainability and sustainable use of renewable energy resources.
